I recently read the book Great Leaders Grow by Ken Blanchard.  He used the word grow to demonstrate ways leaders need to grow:

• Self-knowledge
• Knowledge of others
• Knowledge of industry
• Knowledge of the field of leadership

R each out to others
O pen your world (at work and outside of work)
W alk toward wisdom
