The wife of one of our Esperanza Board members--Cody Case--shared this on FB this morning. Not only is it fun to share humor but it's also a reminder how valuable math is. Cody is working on a math proposal for how we want to teach math at Esperanza.

What I love about this comic is that it's so TRUE! I had such a hard time in science because the rules kept changing! I was great at English, but then I studied German and the rules were completely different! Only in math was I sure that everyone, everywhere was going to agree on the rules and on the answer.
